The Moon for Kids | Facts About Earth’s Moon

In this science lesson for kids, students learn about Moon, Earth’s only natural satellite.

In this video I introduce elementary students to important facts about the Moon, including its phases, surface features, and how it moves around Earth. Kids learn what causes the Moon to change shape in the sky, and why the Moon seems to change color. The concepts are explained in a clear, kid-friendly way that makes space science easier to understand.

This lesson is designed for elementary students and is great for classrooms, homeschooling, and independent learning. It supports science units about space, astronomy, and Earth’s place in the solar system.

It’s perfect for learning about Moon phases, craters, space exploration, and basic astronomy for kids.

Special thanks to my patrons for making videos like this possible!
