10 Frugal (FREE) Fun FAMILY Activities to do THIS Weekend

Saving money can be difficult when you have a family…especially a large family. One of the biggest money pits for our family has been wasting money on weekend activities with the kids. We usually end up blowing $100’s of dollars on things that were a waste of time and money or walking the aisles at the shopping centre and food court instead of making actual worthwhile memories with the kids.

We want to be frugal and wise with our money as well as give our kids the wonderful and magical childhood that we have always hoped we could give them. The truth of the matter is that kids don’t want the big theme parks or eating out every weekend or things that cost a lot of money. What they really want is time. They want us to spend time with them and on them and time doesn’t cost a lot.

These activities are some of our favourite and the cost nothing (or very very little) I bet you can do them this very weekend. Save yourself some money and create some memories with the kids for free. I guarantee they will love it and so will you.
